This shelter is behind a Victorian terraced house in Rugby . It appears to be in its original location, because it has a concrete base about three feet below ground level. The shelter has probably survived because post-war house owners will have found it difficult to remove the concrete. These days, of course, such shelters add contours and real historical interest to gardens.
